		<description><![CDATA[This was the HUGE issue that almost tanked the Constitutional Convention, The Rights of the Individual States vs. the Power of the Federal Government.  So many states are bucking the federal government on different issues, that it is time to engage these states in repealing the 17th amendment.  I need to research the workings behind that ammendment&#039;s passage to see who profited from that and why the people thought it would be a good thing.  Many on here probably already know that!!]]></description>
